The Lord of the Rings realm sets contain seven dice — D4, D6, D8, D10, D% (percentile), D12 and D20 — which covers D&D, The One Ring and most tabletop roleplaying games; the 10×D6 sets contain ten six-sided dice for wargames and board games. The Hobbit TCG sets contain sixteen dice: a jumbo spindown D20 life counter, two D12, a D10 and twelve D6.
For roleplaying, pick the realm you'd defend: the Shire for comfort, Rivendell for elegance, Moria if your group plays by candlelight (the numerals glow), Rohan or Gondor for the heroes, Mordor for the villain. No — they are made by hand from natural wood, so grain and tone vary slightly from piece to piece. That is part of their charm, not a defect.
