Unexpected Roll is a specialist shop with a deliberately narrow shelf: dice and dice accessories for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, and nothing else. One world, stocked completely, instead of a thousand themes stocked thinly.

Everything we sell is made by Q-Workshop, the Polish studio known for its engraved dice, which produces the officially licensed The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit ranges: for The Hobbit, sixteen-dice TCG sets, jumbo spindown D20s, goblin modifier dice, a pouch and a playmat; for The Lord of the Rings, realm sets for the Shire, Rivendell, Moria, Rohan, Gondor and Mordor, the full-art Ring-bearers, handmade wooden boxes, leather cups and printed pouches. That is all we stock.

We are a small, independent shop run from Kraków — not the maker, and not affiliated with it or with the licensor. We buy the products new, keep the stock in the EU, and ship within two business days, with a 60-day guarantee, because nobody should have to keep a gift that isn't right.
